Return Policy
We want you to be completely love your online purchase. If you change your mind for any reason, we will gladly accept a return of any full priced clothing or shoe item for a refund, exchange, or store credit subject to the following conditions:
- items must be posted in the mail within 10 days of receiving your order.
- items must be returned in original condition, unworn, unaltered, unwashed including tags, shoe boxes and sanitary labels. Please take care when trying on garments, as we cannot accept garments that show any signs of wear. Any garments that appear to have been worn, washed, or altered in any way will be refused and returned to you.
Please note, we do not accept returns or exchanges on handbags, sunglasses, jewelry, lingerie, accessories, home & gift items, special orders, orders shipped outside of the US, Sale and items discounted 20% or more.
All Monkee's boutiques are independently owned and operated, so we can only accept returns on purchases from this location. Please contact us at girls@monkeeswilmington.com with any questions.
We will gladly accept a return of any full priced clothing or shoe item for an exchange, subject to the conditions outlined in the Returns section.
Items must be posted in the mail within 10 days of receiving your order.
On your return request, please include a note with information on the product you would like to exchange the item(s) for.
Swimwear & Intimates
Customers must wear undergarments when trying on items.
If you wish to return an item, the tags and protective hygiene strip must remain in place. The item will not be accepted if either of these have been removed, altered or if the item shows sign of wear.
Shoes
We will not accept shoes returned with sole markings or scratches.
If you received a shoe box, this must also be returned in its original condition.
Accessories
Due to health and safety reasons, we do not accept change of mind return requests for jewelry and accessories.
Final Sale & Discounted Items
Discounted items or item(s) marked as "Final Sale" cannot be returned. If merchandise is returned despite this policy, items will be sent back to you at an additional charge.
Gift Cards
Gift Cards do not expire and are not redeemable for cash.
Return shipping options are available to be chosen once you have completed your returns online.
If you choose to use your own shipping method, our return shipping address will be provided to you once you have processed your returns online. We recommend returning items through traceable mail and that customers ask for proof of postage at the time of posting return items as Monkee's cannot issue a refund on items that are not received.
The goods are the responsibility of the customer until they are returned to Monkee's. Monkee's will not issue a refund on item(s) that are not received or are lost in transit.
Return shipping is at the customers expense and is non-refundable.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by receiving a wrong or faulty item. Please contact our team at girls@monkeeswilmington.com with your order number and images of the fault and we will work with you to resolve it as soon as possible.
All items will be assessed upon the return and deemed faulty by Monkee's. Faulty items do not include those that have already been worn.
We strive to process returns daily, however, please allow 2-5 business days for a refund or store credit to be processed from the date that the returned item is received by Monkee's.
Upon receipt of the items, they will undergo a quality review and once cleared, you will receive a refund or store credit for the purchase price (excluding original shipping cost and return handling costs) directly to the original method of payment used for purchase.
Once the return has been processed you will be notified via the email address that the order was placed with. Refunds will be issued to the payment method that the payment originally came from. If orders are paid for via a Gift Card / Store Credit, refunds will be issued via a new Gift Card / Store Credit.
We are happy to accept in-store returns for items purchased online. Please make sure to bring your item(s) and original order confirmation, and a member of our team will help complete your exchange or return at checkout.
